Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of the Human Resources Department, the Human Resources Coordinator I leads and manages the District's complaint processes and supports key human
resources functions to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, District policies, and professional standards.
This position is responsible for overseeing all complaint procedures, including Title IX, California's Uniform Complaint Procedures (UCP) and District level complaints while also supporting
broader human resources programs as assigned. The Coordinator serves as the District's lead investigator, ensuring that all complaints are addressed in a timely, equitable, and legally compliant manner.
The role reinforces BCSD's commitment to safe and welcoming environments while strengthening systems for responsiveness, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.

SALARY: $155,410 - $188,734 Annually, 223 days
(max salary includes longevity & education stipends)
Performance will be evaluated in accordance with the District's "Improvement of Professional Services"
handbook, Board Policies and Procedures, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.

Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. Must present verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training or obtain verification within six (6) weeks of hire and annually thereafter, as required by the California Child Abuse Neglect Reporting Act.
