Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support the HR team with a strong focus on compliance, employee records, and HR operations . This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who is eager to learn, grow, and gain exposure across multiple HR functions within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This individual will play a critical role in ensuring HR processes are executed accurately and efficiently, while supporting ongoing HR projects and maintaining compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

HR Compliance & Employee Records

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and documentation

  • Ensure all onboarding, offboarding, and employee documentation is complete and compliant

  • Audit employee records and follow up on missing or incomplete documentation

  • Track and manage compliance-related paperwork and deadlines

Onboarding & HR Operations

  • Support onboarding processes, including collecting and verifying new hire paperwork

  • Partner with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience

  • Assist with HR systems updates and data entry accuracy

Administrative & Project Support

  • Provide administrative support to the HR team across various initiatives

  • Assist with HR projects, reporting, and process improvements

  • Communicate with employees to collect information and resolve documentation gaps

Cross-Functional Exposure

  • Gain exposure to broader HR functions including employee relations, talent acquisition, and L&D (as needed)

  • Opportunity to support recruiting or other HR initiatives based on interest and business needs

What They’re Looking For

  • 1–3+ years of experience in an HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, or administrative role

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume administrative tasks

  • Experience handling confidential employee information with discretion

  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and accountability

  • Proactive, “doer” mindset — willing to jump in and support where needed

  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow up effectively
