Job Description

Salary: $100,000 - 155,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree
• Over 5 years of integration development experience, including 2-3 years of hands-on MuleSoft in production environments
• Strong proficiency with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Design Center/Exchange, Runtime Manager, API Manager) and API-led connectivity patterns
• Practical experience with Mule 4, DataWeave, connectors, error handling, retries/idempotency, and performance tuning
• Established testing practice using MUnit and experience with SIT/UAT and production validation
• Proven experience in Salesforce integration including REST/SOAP APIs, Bulk API, Platform Events/CDC, and Salesforce data model and limits
• Capability to define and consume interface contracts (OpenAPI/RAML), perform data mapping, and manage versioning/backward compatibility
• Understanding of security principles for integrations, including OAuth 2.0/JWT and secure transport
• Competence in operational readiness: logging/monitoring, troubleshooting across systems, and production support/hypercare involvement
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with functional stakeholders, project management office (PMO), Salesforce team, and downstream system owners; proficiency in technical documentation
• Must be legally able to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
• Willingness to travel 20-30%, depending on work and client needs

• Design and deliver critical integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using MuleSoft
• Collaborate closely with functional stakeholders, project management office (PMO), integration partners, and the Salesforce team
• Take hands-on responsibility for MuleSoft integrations across multiple product teams, from discovery to hypercare
• Interpret business requirements into integration specifications, including interface contracts, data mapping, and non-functional requirements
• Develop MuleSoft APIs and flows using scalable, reusable API-led architectures when applicable
• Implement robust error handling mechanisms, retries, idempotency, and resilience patterns; resolve complex cross-system issues
• Work alongside Salesforce architects/admins and downstream systems teams to synchronize data models and integration designs
• Assist with testing and release activities, covering test data requirements, deployment readiness, and production validation
