You'll shape the next generation of nurses by teaching obstetrics and gynecology at the collegiate level. This faculty position puts you at the center of student development — from classroom instruction to hands-on clinical supervision. Your Day-to-Day

• Plan and deliver instruction using adult learning principles across theory and clinical settings
• Supervise and evaluate student clinical experiences, providing immediate feedback on performance
• Collaborate with fellow instructors to prepare, administer, and grade exams and contribute to final course evaluations
• Track and submit class attendance, grades, and student records including skills check-offs
• Select clinical assignments that align with student learning outcomes and facility requirements
• Verify that clinical sites meet all health and safety standards
• Plan and conduct orientation for new faculty in both theory and clinical instruction
• Use and adopt online tools to enhance course content and interactive teaching methods
• Assist with strategic planning, assessment of instructional initiatives, and program data collection
• Submit required program reports and forms on time
• Maintain regular availability for students through office hours, email, and advising
• Participate in program-supporting committees and attend faculty meetings
• Stay current with new technologies and safety regulations relevant to nursing education

What We're Looking For

• Valid, active Registered Nurse license issued by the State Board
• Master's degree in Nursing (or higher) from an accredited institution, including coursework in nursing, education, administration, OB, Pediatrics, or Psychiatry
• At least 4 years of direct patient care experience as a registered nurse
• At least 1 year of clinical experience within the last 5 years (clinical teaching counts toward direct patient care)
• Clinical competency per CCR Section 1420(c)
• Expertise in Pediatrics or OB-GYN
