As a Elite Armed Security Officer - Retail Center in San Antonio TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner including de-escalation and timely notification to leadership and/or emergency personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store surrounding property parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor customer and team member activity observe for suspicious behavior and document incidents hazards and/or unusual conditions in detailed written reports.
• Support access control and presence at key entry points receiving areas and high-traffic retail spaces to help to deter theft trespassing and/or disorderly conduct.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement corrections or military experience or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
