Data Integrity Analyst

• $28–$34/hour
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• W2 | Temporary assignment (6 weeks with possible extension)

ROLE IMPACT
The Data Integrity Analyst protects the accuracy and reliability of the legal medical record by identifying and correcting patient registration and documentation errors. This role ensures accurate patient identification across enterprise systems, reducing risk, supporting clinical care, and maintaining compliance. Success is measured by timely resolution of duplicate, overlay, and identifier errors while adhering to internal policies and data governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Investigate and resolve patient identifier issues including duplicates, overlays, and linkage errors within the Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI).
• Review Potential Duplicate, Potential Overlay, and identifier work queues to maintain accurate patient matching and record integrity.
• Research, troubleshoot, and correct documentation errors in electronic health records (EHR) and document imaging systems.
• Resolve duplicate errors generated from monthly hospital system data loads (roster reconciliation).
• Coordinate with downstream systems and internal departments to ensure accurate propagation of patient record corrections.
Minimum Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with Master Patient Index (MPI) or Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI) systems.
• Experience resolving duplicate medical records, overlays, and patient record merges.
• Proficient in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred), document imaging systems, and data reconciliation workflows.
