The Breakfast Server plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our hotel guests. This position provides full-service, made-to-order breakfast service in a restaurant setting. The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, strong attention to detail, and a warm, service-focused demeanor. Shifts typically begin at 6:00 AM and run until approximately 11:30 AM, or until side work and closing duties are completed. You will ensure every guest starts their day with outstanding service, efficiency, and genuine hospitality. Key Responsibilities Guest Service * Greet and seat guests in a warm, professional manner * Present menus and explain specials or featured items * Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system * Deliver food and beverages promptly and correctly * Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve concerns professionally * Process payments accurately * Thank guests and invite them back Service & Dining Room Operations * Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment * Set and reset tables quickly and properly * Bus tables and assist with maintaining flow of service * Keep beverage stations stocked (coffee, juice, etc.) * Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery * Complete all opening and closing side work Cleanliness, Safety & Compliance * Practice the highest standards of sanitation and food handling * Clean spills immediately and maintain safe walkways * Properly use all cleaning chemicals and equipment per manufacturer guidelines * Follow all food safety and health department regulations * Adhere strictly to company policies regarding alcohol service (if applicable) * Remain aware of security concerns and report issues to Supervisor or MOD * Follow emergency procedures and safety protocols Team Support * Assist with special guest functions or events as needed * Support other departments when appropriate * Carry out any reasonable request by Management Schedule Requirements * Flexibility to work scheduled shifts * Weekend availability required * Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high service standards Qualifications Required * Strong organizational and multitasking skills * Excellent communication and guest service skills * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Reliable and punctual Preferred * High School Diploma or GED * Previous serving experience (preferably breakfast or restaurant service) * Customer service experience in hospitality * Experience using POS systems About Aperture Hotels Aperture Hotels is an established hotel management company with a portfolio of well-known brands including Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites, Hotel Indigo, Courtyard by Marriott, Hampton Inn & Suites, Fairfield Inn & Suites, Holiday Inn Express, Home2, and independent properties.
