Parched Hospitality Group Inc. is seeking experienced Barista/Servers to join our team at Isla & Co. and Hole In The Wall inside The Merchant Hotel in the LES. The ideal candidate will be warm, welcoming and passionate about delivering an excellent experience (and espresso!) to all of those who step through our doors. We truly believe that every great day starts with a fresh cup of coffee and ends with a perfectly crafted espresso martini.

Isla & Co. is an upscale, Australian-inspired restaurant offering specialty coffee and brunch by day, and a seasonally crafted cocktail and dinner program by night. Hole In The Wall is a lively NYC café and brunch spot, celebrated for its creative menu, approachable vibe, and strong coffee culture.

As the Barista you will:

• Create and serve a variety of espresso based drinks (lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos, and more!)
• Weigh and dial in espresso shots
• Ensure top quality execution of all beverages (hint: latte art!!!!)
• Greet and interact with guests, creating an environment that is friendly, positive and down to earth
• Maintain and regularly clean/sanitize the espresso machine and work station
• Share knowledge and suggest menu items to our guests
• Work on the floor and take orders from guests & run food and drinks as needed

What you must have:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in speciality coffee, high volume environment
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in restaurants/cafes
• Ability to dial in espresso and filter coffee
• Passion for providing the an exception experience for all of those
• Availability in the mornings (as early as 8am), on weekends and holidays
• Problem solving skills, team first mentality, and a warm, friendly personality!!!
